It is a very good bet that it did though, especially since they are right next door. Also, the city currently accepts money from Cal Portland, about $3,000 each time for sponsorship of events. We've inquired if this is ethical considering the current negotiations on the 2011 Settlement Agreement. The city has not responded to questions on the ethics of accepting donations from Cal Portland who stands to make many millions if the city allows the mine to expand.
