Due to conflicts with the USGA’s Amateur Championship qualifying rounds being held out at The Home Course, Sequalitchew Creek Watershed Council (SCWC) has decided to postpone their Wilkes Observatory work party to September 11, 2010. While SCWC has permission from First Industrial Reality Trust to cross their property to get to the work site, we do not want to cause any interference with Amateur play at the golf course. We respect The Home Course’s concerns and will gladly reschedule for Sept. 11.

We value our supporters and volunteers and apologize for any misunderstandings this re-schedule may cause. We ask that you still join us on this day for a great volunteer event. We will take a moment of silence honoring those citizens killed during the 9-11 terrorist attacks, and respectfully remember all the troops who have served and lost their lives in the name of Freedom.
