We need your help on August 21!
Come out and help us install a cedar fence and restore the vertical trail near the Wilkes Observatory site.
Details:
- Please let us know you can help by filing out our Contact Us form. Be sure to mention how you can help out.
- Meet us at City Hall on August 21 @ 8:30 a.m.; work starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m.
- One crew will work on installing the cedar fence; one crew will restore the trail using jute mats for erosion control.
- Lunch and refreshment will be available for crew volunteers.
- Bring gloves and wear appropriate work shoes; bring your rain gear just in case. We will work rain or shine.
- We also need help with waiver forms, taking pictures, delivering water to the weary and cheer leading!
- The following tools are needed: post hole diggers, buckets, wheelbarrows, rope, hammers, battery powered drills.
